Live Feed displays the last 100 actions on your web app, displaying page views and mouse clicks by user.
To access the live feed, click the button to the right of the Currently Online page.
Click the Refresh button for a more current view or check the Refresh Automatically to update every minute.
From this screen you can see what users are actively engaging your web app. The action column displays the specific action taken by a user, the URL column is the path of that action.
The actions or click events can be named to make the data easier to understand and used to target and engage users.
Click on an action to name it, a box will appear allowing for a description and along with a red save button. These named actions are known as Named Features.
Named Features can be used in campaigns, for tracking, and navigating using the Take Me There option. If you need to wildcard * part of the URL because some of the URL is specific to account or user the named feature cannot be used for navigation. In this case, if you want to send users to this Named Feature you can insert the value if you are passing these in the Custom Variables, such as AccountID or UserID. For more information on wildcarding or inserting values see here.
Click on the Intelligence menu and click Named Features. From this screen you can Add new features and edit or delete existing ones. Besides the Live Feed page and the Named Features page, you can also assign pages from the UserIQ bubble from within your web app (see here).
Starred Features allow the usage to be tracked for graphs, charts and exporting of data specific to those features. To star a feature, click the star to the right of the feature to make it black. Please star key pages or important features of your web app.
Once a feature is starred the data can be viewed in bar graph by account. From the menu click on Intelligence, All Accounts. From this page click the Feature Usage By Account button on the upper right of the screen.
You can segment the bar graph over a 30 day period by checking the additional Starred Features from the column on the right and adjusting the date ranges. Click the Export Data button on the top right to get a csv file of all of the accounts and starred feature data (you do not have to check any boxes for the export, it will include all features by default)
To assign a Named Feature from the UserIQ bubble see below (you must be logged into both UserIQ as an admin and your web app in the same browser)
